Joanne Damico is dually licensed in the state of Wisconsin as a Clinical Social Worker and as a Marriage & Family Therapist. She received her Master’s Degree in Social Work in 1982 from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee and her Bachelor’s Degree in English and Education from Marquette University in 1972. Her post-graduate training includes the completion of a two-year externship in Marriage and Family Therapy through the Family Therapy Training Institute (1989) and completion of the Trauma Counseling Certification program through the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee (2007).
Joanne’s practice is limited to the treatment of adults, and she focuses on helping clients develop healthy relationships – with themselves, with peers and family, and with the community at-large. She has extensive experience in treating depression, anxiety, relational disruption, and trauma, with special focus on women’s issues.
In her spare time, Joanne enjoys reading historical novels, home-decorating, and being a grandmother to six adorable grandchildren.
