Board Certified in both Family Practice and Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
In addition to her civilian experience, Jackie served in the Wisconsin Army National Guard for 10 years and was deployed during Desert Storm in 1991. Academically, she was elected to Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society. She belongs to the American Psychiatric Nurse’s Association. Jackie obtained her master’s degree in nursing from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. She also holds a certificate from the University of Wisconsin – Madison’s Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program. Jackie completed her psychiatric clinical training here at American Behavioral Clinics with Dr. James Winston, who currently serves as her collaborating physician. She also has past hospice experience, working with grief issues.
