Kristi is a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in trauma, depression, anxiety, Bipolar disorder, divorce, adjustment disorder, grief, loss, and chemical dependency. She works with both couples and individuals, focusing on enabling clients to realize they can create positive change in their lives.
Kristi joined American Behavioral Clinics in 2024 after a successful career at ProHealth Care and Aurora Psychiatric Center. She has held multiple roles, including leading Outpatient, Intensive Outpatient, Partial Hospital, and Residential Programming. Her work at the Lawrence Center included directing the women’s chemical dependency program.
Kristi’s goal and distinct pleasure is to bring the love of her practice into sessions. She guides clients toward freedom from mental health challenges. As a Christian Therapist, she offers faith-based counseling for those interested, bringing the love of God, compassion, and spiritual approach to healing. To be able to take heart and help mend it is a privilege and honor for Kristi.
EDUCATION:
Kristi obtained her Bachelor’s Degree from Ottawa University, in Brookfield, where she graduated as Summa cum Laude. Kristi went on to obtain her Master’s Degree also finishing with honors.
