Sandy takes a personalized and eclectic approach to therapy, thoughtfully integrating elements from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and psychoeducation. Her focus is on empowering clients to tell their stories, gain deeper insights into their thought patterns, and understand their individual needs. EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:
Sandy received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee, with an emphasis on Children and Family Issues. Her undergraduate degree is from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years of experience working with the foster care system, group homes, residential treatment, school-based mental health clinics, and in the outpatient setting.
