Christine Hansburg-Hotson, LCSW, CSAC, CEAP, ICSE – Christine (Chris) has been a therapist of 30+ years. Chris specializes in dual diagnosis patients with mental health and substance abuse issues. She conducts assessments to evaluate patient need; and will determine what types of services are required to help an individual to feel better.
Chris can provide individual; group; or family/couples counseling. If the client is needing, or wanting to work with a particular type of therapist, Chris can make referrals, if working with her if not appropriate.
Chris helps individuals, who have been raised in difficult families of origin. She can help those who need to change life patterns which might include use of substances; dealing with grief and loss issues, changing a history of poor relationships and trauma; improving communication skills, or increasing self esteem.
Chris has been an EAP provider for many companies, and been both an Administrator and provider for those companies. She can provides EAP training sessions for employees; critical incident debriefing sessions; and EAP assessments. Chris’ style in therapy is open and frank, helping people feel competent and positive about their lives; or make realistic changes to get to where they wish to be.
