Megan received her B.A. in psychology from Alverno College in 2004 with a focus in substance abuse counseling. She has since been in practice full-time and has extensive experience in both individual and group counseling. Megan sees both adults and adolescents (13 and up).
Megan describes her practice style as focusing on client strengths. She primarily utilizes a cognitive/behavioral approach, meeting the client where they are at. She then works with the client to develop mutually agreed upon treatment goals, tailoring each client’s program to meet their specific needs.
Megan loves all types of group work and enjoys incorporating creativity, artistic expression, and mindfulness into her sessions.
On her off time, Megan enjoys reading traveling, the outdoors, and spending time with family.
