As a practitioner, Erin recognizes that difficult life experiences can deeply impact a person’s emotional and physical well-being. Her goal as a guide is to hear her client’s experiences, process their journey, and help them develop a meaningful understanding of themselves. She assists her clients in achieving their therapeutic goals by creating a compassionate, collaborative, and non-judgmental space in which mutual respect, honesty, and trust can be built. Erin uses an eclectic approach by drawing from a variety of therapeutic techniques to best address her client’s individual needs. She favors an integrative embodied process and is skilled in trauma-focused CBT, DBT, and Humanistic modalities. Erin has experience working with individuals from a wide range of cultural, religious, and socioeconomic backgrounds. She also has experience working with AODA clients in inpatient, residential and outpatient settings.
EDUCATION:
Erin received her Masters degree in Community Psychology from Alverno College and acquired a certificate in Advanced Trauma Studies. She also received her Undergraduate Degree from Alverno College.
