Leah provides a comfortable and relaxed place for you to talk about the challenges you are facing. She is non-judgmental, patient and understanding. She enjoys working with people seeking help with depression, anxiety, stress management, women’s issues, life transitions, grief, mood disorders, gender and sexual orientation issues, self-esteem, and substance abuse. She strives to provide comfort and validate her clients while providing accountability and guidance. Her approach is eclectic, drawing from several modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Client Centered, and Solution Focused Therapy.

You will work with Leah in setting your treatment goals in a safe and non-judgmental environment where you can explore and work through your thoughts and feelings that may be challenging you. Leah feels as though it is essential to develop a level of trust and have open communication to help you reach your goals in therapy.

EDUCATION:
Leah received her master’s in counseling degree from Ottawa University. She also holds her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Ottawa university.
